It has the same characteristics as the old green stuff from Squadron but is much more fine. Quick drying time, strong, no shrinkage and sands beautifully! Milliput is great stuff for sculpting and structure.

If you're talking about the 'glazing putty' then it's OK to use for 'thin' putty jobs. It's very similar to squadron green or white putty. I use it all the time and it dries really quick. WebAug 23, 2004 · I think that it's a fact of life that solvent based putty will shrink as it dries to one degree or another. I use 3M Acryl Blue which is an autobody glazing putty. It shrinks, but not as much as Squadron Green and it sands much nicer. It doesn't tend to "chunk" as much as the green stuff when you scribe a line in it either. I did buy a tube of Tamiya White Putty and they seem to have improved that. So it is good too. I am less happy with Squadron White putty. I prefer their old Green putty, but the Tamiya is better than either. Gunze Mr. White Putty is also very good.
