Gulliford Burial Ground – Woodbury Parish Council

WebNon-conformist meeting house and burial ground established near Gulliford in the late 17th century. A new building was erected in 1774 after the original chapel was attacked by a mob. The congregation dwindled during the course of the 19th century, after a new site was obtained in the village. The chapel was demolished in 1907. WebThe Burial Ground is managed by Lympstone and Woodbury Parish Council and a Joint Committee meets several times a year which also includes members of the Friends of Gulliford Burial Ground. This is a group of volunteer helpers who keeps the site in good repair though gardening working parties and fundraising events.
