The Ruddy Duck's physical features really stood out to me, it's blue bill causes this species to be different than almost every other duck. I was interested in finding out why it was invasive and more about their native habitat. WebA female ruddy duck has the same reddish coloring throughout it's head and body, the shading just gets lighter towards the head. The female's beak is a light brown color. The species have eyes towards the sides of their heads allowing them to see predators in front, behind, and to the sides of them.
