Web6 nov 2011 · Most tire websites recommend at least an 8.5" width wheel for a 33x12.5" tire, and, unfortunately, finding 15x8.5" wheel is tougher than a 15x8" wheel. However, a 15"x8" wheel (like the MB72) will in fact spin a 33x12.5R15 tire just fine. Still, you should ask the tire shop just to be sure they're willing to disregard the manufacturer ... Also, there may be a slight prices difference. Here in SoCal, I think the 10.5 are actually a little more $ but that could be due to lack of demand. Most everyone I know runs the 12.5".
