Palehua solar observatory
Webter enjoyed a field trip to the Palehua Solar Observatory. Located on Oahu, this "sun-watching" center is administered by the Air Weather Service. On 3 December 1975, some 30 members met for dinner and enjoyed the theme of "Meet Your Sister Service." Presenta tions were given describing the activities of the three major weather services on Oahu.
