WebThe Phonics Screening Check is a phonics reading check set for KS1. It aims to show how well pupils have mastered the use of their phonics skills to read a variety of real and pseudo words. If pupils are unable to reach the expected standard by the end of year 1, they will retake the check with their teachers at the end of year 2. WebThe Year 2 Phonics results need to be sent to the LA by way of a CTF. NOTE: There is a new CTF export type in the SIMS Autumn 7.202. Step by Step – Create a CTF File for pupils in Year 2 Go to Routines Data Out CTF Export CTF Select the new Phonics Test Results (For Autumn Term 2024 1st Screening Check Only) from the Export type options 1.
