Having finished with the 14 hardware I thought I would now begin to refinish the 14 stock. But I don't know what finish Ruger put on the 14 stock at the factory. Work in small areas so the stuff doesn't have time to absorb into the stock or dry on the surface. Once a small area is scrubbed, rinse it off with warm water.
