I don't understand how Cranford can make steps that go in a tree so effortlessly and all the other guys (Ameristep, Gorilla, etc) make crappy steps. Spend the extra $ and get Cranfords. I like the rod steps to go up the tree and the 'T' steps as my platform for my tree saddle. Webb28 feb. 2013 · I've used them for years. Most important thing you need to do is screw the steps into a new spot in the tree each year. The wood will rot around the screw after a couple years and they can pop out of the tree. Be safe.
