WebIn 1908 the present St Blazey box was built and Middleway became a ground frame, controlling the gates and also 'slotting' the neighbouring St Blazey signals. Slotting meant that the signals were dual controlled, with the levers in both boxes reversed in order for the signal arm to be lowered.
