WebMar 28, 2016 · Selling a pair of Tannoy Cheviots, with HPD315a drivers and crossovers. * The HPD315a drivers (the later HPD driver, same as the ones in my Canterburys) were re-coned (including a re-foam of course) at Lockwood Audio just over a year ago, just before I got them from Mark Pitcher, and retain the slight bluish/purple tint of recent recodes. The HPD315A drive units are brilliant. Ok, so you have to get them re-coned every 10 - 15 years because the suspension degenerates but Tannoy still make replacements (2024) although they are only sold to Tannoy certified engineers who will fit them. The crossovers are good but the response switches wear out.
